Construction Updates: July 22 to 31

Freight elevator shut-down
The freight elevator in B wing of the Health Sciences building will be shut down on Friday, July 24 from 7:00 a.m. to noon to facilitate work going on in the area of the elevator shaft. The main elevators in B wing will be running as normal.

Health Sciences B wing re-roofing
Re-roofing work on B-Wing of the Health Science building is scheduled to starting July 27. Work will begin on the south side of the roof. Occupants of the 6th floor will experience an increase in the noise level as the old roofing material is removed. This will require a fair amount of banging and hammering. The contractor has indicated the noisiest work on the south side should be completed by the middle of August. Once the roofing is complete on the south half of the B wing, work will begin on the north half. No dates have been confirmed yet. Health Sciences building occupants will be informed of the progress.
