P1070301.jpgWhen the Companion Animal Health Fund was created in the late 1970s, its founders had modest hopes for its future success. But thanks to the tremendous support of dedicated people across Canada, the Fund has exceeded those early expectations over and over again. Donations from individual pet owners, veterinarians, breed and sport organizations and pet health companies have helped to train companion animal health specialists, have supported dozens of research investigations and have transformed the Western College of Veterinary Medicine into a centre of excellence for companion animal health research and education.

This information is compiled and publicized in conjunction with the fall issue of Vet Topics. CAHF memorial program: pet owners and friends

P1010687.jpgIf you would like to honour the memory of a pet or a person, consider making a donation to the Companion Animal Health Fund. Dedicated to supporting WCVM's companion animal health research and training programs, the Fund will ensure that your contribution continues to benefit the health of other pets for years to come.

When you make a memorial donation, WCVM development staff will send a letter acknowledging your thoughtful gift to the family of the honoured pet or person. The College also includes some information about the Fund's programs and activities so the family will know how your gift is working to improve companion animal health care and training.
