Training equine specialists, making advances in horse health research and establishing a solid base of equine expertise hasn't happened overnight at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. It has taken an incredible amount of time, resources and hard work to make a significant difference in the world of horse health care.
It has also taken the dedicated support of people whose lives revolve around horses. Without a steady stream of financial support from horse owners, equine organizations and businesses, the Equine Health Research Fund could never have developed into such an effective vehicle for change in horse health research and training.
