Wish You all a Happy and prosperous new year 2006

The Multilingual Choral Festival is a multicultural festival which presents interesting mixtures of folk and traditional music from different nations. Every year Saskatchewan Intercultural Association (SIA) and Saskatchewan Organization for Heritage Languages (SOHL) organize the event in celebration of Mother Tongue Day in Saskatoon since 2005. On behalf of Sri Lankan community in Saskatoon, Sinhala Language School presents an item for this event in every year.

We wish you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Let the coming year be prosperous joyful for all of us.
Hark how the bells,
sweet silver bells,
all seem to say,
throw cares away
Christmas is here,
bringing good cheer,
to young and old,
meek and the bold.
Ding dong ding dong
that is their song
with joyful ring
all caroling.
One seems to hear
words of good cheer
from everywhere
filling the air.
Oh how they pound,
raising the sound,
o'er hill and dale,
telling their tale.
Gaily they ring
while people sing
songs of good cheer,
Christmas is here.
Merry, Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas,
Merry, Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas.
On on they send,
on without end,
their joyful tone
to every home.
Ding dong ding... dong!
Merry Christmas Eve !,
Merry Christmas !,
Happy New Year!,
Subha nath thalak Vewa. Subha Aluth Awrudhak Vewa!
