1st Feb Sun 8.50 pm Students arrive Entebbe. Overnight at Vet College Guest house
2nd Feb Mon Money changing, vet college tour, school supply purchases & dinner College Inn
3rd Feb Tues Farm visits with Dr. Benon Kanyima.
4th Feb Wed Dep to Kibale NP.
5th Feb Thu 7.00 am - rodent & bird work in groups
10.30 am lab work
1.30 Discussion about forest matters & wildlife
4.00 forest walk in groups
6th Feb Fri 7.00 am groups reverse for field work, day similar to Fri, groups reversed
7th Feb Sat Primate workshop (JBN & Innocent & others?) and lab work
8th Feb Sun Chimp tracking. Walk to village with Dr. Kasenene
9th Feb Mon Drive to Mweya (QEP) and settle in at hostel. Internet available
10th Feb Tues Darting labs in morning. Kasinga channel trip 3.00 p.m. Boat dock by 2.15
11th Feb Wed QEP work (kob, carnivores or whatever crops up)
12th Feb Thu QEP work. First school visit
13th Feb Fri QEP Chambura gorge, other.
14th Feb Sat QEP work (cattle). Salt mine visit to L. Katwe
15th Feb Sun Day off – no activities planned. Chill out by the pool, church.
16th Feb Mon QEP work early.
17th Feb Tues QEP work early, 2nd school visit
18th Feb Wed QEP wrap-up.
19th Feb Thu Dep. QEP via Mbarara, stop for shopping, internet etc.
20th Feb Fri Cattle dipping in morning. Game drive & ecology discussions.
21st Feb Sat Early morning walks to study wildlife issues.
22nd Feb Sun DAY OFF although afternoon boat trips to see hippo, crocs and numerous bird species are available if booked well enough in advance.
23rd Feb Mon Fishing village visit. Discussion of park ecology re fishing
24th Feb Tues Dep from L. Mburo to Uganda Wildlife Ed Centre (zoo) – overnight there in dorms
25th Feb Wed Ngamba island visit. Overnight at UWEC.
26th Feb Thu Morning with zoo vet, afternoon butterfly farm. WARM dorm
27th Feb Fri Shopping, packing, Dep to airport
