National Summer Institute, 2010
Information about this year's National Summer Institute for Statistical and GIS Analysis of Health Data is now available on the University of Regina's web site.
Scheduled for June 20-26, 2010, the National Summer Institute is intended to:
* train participants to use Statistics Canada data-sets (particularly health data),
* upgrade participants' statistical skills
* introduce them to GIS techniques.
Guest speakers at this year's event will be Dr. Ryan Mazan, Epidemiologist from the Northwest Territories; and Dr. Rob Sayer of AMEC Earth & Environment in Ottawa.
