GeoGratis, Natural Resources Canada's online GIS data/mapping website, has added several new resources.
- New CanVec data is now available, including new road network files
- New CanTopo maps now available
Also added were: The Canadian Peatland Database, Canadian Permafrost Thickness data, Potential Sediment Transport by Wind in the Prairie Provinces, Climate Change gis data, Urban Geology of the National Capital Area, Borehole Geophysical Logs in Surficial Sediments in Canada and the NTS Index maps in KML.
