Clothing Sale is going on now until January 29. Check out the posters
around the building to see what is being sold. Sample sizes are
available in the ESS office.
The Career Fair is taking place on January 28, from 10:00-2:15. This
event is open for everyone in the college, but is especially important
for those of us who are looking for employment after graduation. Come
out and see who is looking to hire, and network. Hopefully we’ll all
get hired!
Cooperating Teacher/Intern Supervisor Award nomination forms are in the
ESS office. If your coop or supervisor were exceptional, and did a lot
to make your experience enjoyable, come into the ESS office and pick up
a form to honor them.
The Crazy Carpet Crawl will happen on January 31. Tickets are $10, and
are limited, so get them as soon as you can. Tickets go on sale on
January 21.
GRAD PHOTOS will start taking place next week... Sign up as soon
as possible to ensure that you get a time that works for you! Sign up
sheets are on the bulletin board across from the ESS office.
Anyone interested in being on the GRAD COMMITTEE, please bring your
sign up sheet to the ESS office (Room 1009) before the end of the day,
this Wednesday, January 14.
The Annual General Meeting is coming up on January 26. For those of you
who do not know what this is, this meeting deals with the ESS
constitution and any changes which might be made to it. All students
are welcome to attend, but only ESS members can vote to make any
changes. Any changes which students wish to make must be handed in to
the ESS office, in writing, by Friday, January 23 at 4:00. Pizza will
be provided at this meeting, so come out, have a say in the
constitution and have a free meal!
David Caplin Concert – Sunday at 7:30 in Convocation Hall David Caplin
is performing a concert. The cost is $15, or free for students, so go
check it out!
Teacher Candidate Recruitment Session – this session explains how to go
about getting a job. There are two session dates:
