Education Ski/Snowboard Trip 2010 information package

Hello all!
Here is all of the information for the 2010 Ski/Snowboard trip. There are still a lot of spots left, and in the interest of filling all of our spots, we will open the trip up to all of the Universuty and we will be advertising in the tunnel in November. Spots will fill fast, so sign up and pay your deposit to make sure you can get your spot!
Education Does Panorama 2010 Information Package.

Where: We will be staying right in Panorama Mountain Village BC.

When: February Break 2010
-Departure from Saskatoon: Monday, February 15 at approximately 8 am. We will be leaving from the Education loop.
-Arrival in Panorama: Monday night, around 5pm- this is when we will check into the hotel.
-Departure from Panorama: Thursday, February 18 at approximately 8pm. We will have time to check out and pack up before this time.
-Arrival back in Saskatoon: Friday, February 19 at approximately 5am (ouch early!) Once again we will be dropped off at the Education Loop

What: Skiing or Snowboarding for 3 days

Cost: $475.00- 2 deposits of $237.50. First deposit due upon sign-up- before December 1. Second deposit due before Wednesday, January 6, 2010. You can also make one payment for the full amount before December 1.
Cost Includes: - Coach bus trip there and back (P.A. Northern motor coach)
- 3 days and 3 nights accommodation
- 3 days lift tickets to ski/snowboard.

Accommodations: We will be staying in the Gold Level, fully equipped condos.

-Designer slope side units feature full kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, all necessary kitchen utensils, and bathroom with hair dryer. Living areas have a phone, gas fireplace, iron & ironing board, and sofa bed. Each condo property has laundry facilities and free underground parking. All guests have access to outdoor pools, fitness centre, & the village gondola.
These will be 2 bedroom condos. They will have 1 king size bed and one queen size pull out couch. There will be 4 people per room. You will be responsible for finding your roommates and giving me the names of the people in your room. These need to be in to me before Thursday December 17th. You can also sign up to take lessons and to rent your gear (helmets, skis, snowboards, boots, and poles). I will also need this information before December 17th.

More important details:
Food: You will be responsible for your own food while we are there. You will have a kitchen, and there is a grocery store and there are also tons of restaurants.
1. Each room will be required to fill out an express check-in form. This will provide Central Check-in with a credit card number to activate the phones and allow an express check-out.
2. If there are any incidental charges the credit card provided will be charged.
3. Some charges may include:
• $200 smoking fine
• $50 starting point for any room damage
• $50 starting point for extra cleaning required

One person per room needs to provide a credit card. Nothing will be charged to this card unless there is damage to the room. You will be responsible for any charges to your room.

Ski/Snowboard Trip Information Night

Hello Everyone,
As promised, here is the details about the Information night for the Ski/Snowboard trip. The first information night will take place on Tuesday October 27 at 5pm in the student lounge. It will be super informal, just the details and then a question and answer. People can also sign up at this time. So if you arent sure if you want to come on the trip, or you want for info, come on tuesday to get the details! If you have questions please email me, Katie, at kmm199@mail.usask.ca.
