First Nation Communities Preparing to Fight H1N1
First Nation Communities are working closely with Health Canada on pandemic planning to ensure they are prepared to fight the H1N1 flu virus. Cowessess First Nation have been taking charge of their own planning in their community for a possible outbreak and Chief Gordon Lerat recently met with Leona Aglukkaq, Federal Minster of Health, to discusses on-going cooperation on pandemic planning and preparedness.
