Why We Need a First Nations Education Act
The Caledon Institute of Social Policy released a document on October 8, 2009 that discusses the need for a First Nations Education Act. The document is a proposal for a new Act of Parliament which would allow First Nations to establish properly funded First Nations school boards and regional educational agencies to support them.
