President Of Native Womens Association Receives Governor Generals Award
Jeannette Corbiere Lavell, who was recently elected president of the Native Women's Association of Canada, has been presented with the Governor General's Award. This award is presented to individuals who have made contributions to the advancement of women's equality and Canada's evolution as an inclusive society.
