Innu First Nation Closer To Getting Their Own Fire Department
Anastasia Qupee, Chief of the Innu First Nation, said that it appears that the community of Sheshatshiu, 20 kilometres north of Goose Bay, NL will be getting its own fire department. Now with the support of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) and the provincial government it's one step closer to reality.
