Olympic Torch Relay Covers Aboriginal Sacred Ground

The 2010 Winter Olympic Torch Relay, the longest in history, reached Wanuskewin Heritage Park on Monday. Aboriginal groups have historically gathered at the site just outside of Saskatoon for over 6,000 years to live, hunt and pray. Native elders hope young people, like the hundreds gathered yesterday on sacred ground, discover 'what was and can still be'.
