University of Victoria Opens First Peoples House
Dignitaries including Chancellor Murray Farmer, President David Turpin and Lt. Governor Steven Point were present at the official opening of the First People's House at the University of Victoria. Completion of the $7 million project, located in a high profile location, was one of the results of a consultation process that set out to increase the number of First Nations students and faculty.
