Manitoba Aboriginal School System Proposal Progressing
A proposal late last year recommending a separate First Nations school system appears to be moving ahead, slowly, but it is moving ahead. A steering committee will soon be formed to plan consultation to create some form of aboriginal public schools in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The idea emerged as part of a city council proposal to study ways to cut crime rates in the city.
