Aboriginal Animated Series Cancelled

Wapos Bay, a Saskatoon made stop-motion animation series, is filming its final season. The series follows the lives of three Cree youth in the fictional northern community of Wapos Bay. Dennis Jackson, the series creator, based the story on his own experiences in Sandy Bay, Saskatchewan.
An open house is being held Friday, May 14, 2010 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the studio located at 401 45th Street W., Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. At the open house, the public will have an opportunity to view the tiny plasticine characters and meet with the animators.
