Edmonton Candidate Returns to Aboriginal Roots
An Edmonton city council candidate has set up a teepee beside a busy river valley road in Edmonton as his low-cost way of campaigning for today's civic election. Duane Good Striker, who's seeking the Ward 8 seat, raised the colourful shelter about 10 days ago in an empty lot west of Telus Field and held a ceremony to support clean water around the world.
