Time to Take a Stand: FSIN Chief Does Not Rule Out Legal Action
First Nations people deserve the right to share in Saskatchewan's resource revenues and are prepared "to take a stand'' to defend that right, the head of the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations said last week.
Whatever the process, Guy Lonechild made it clear he believes First Nations people have treaty entitlements to resource revenues that need to be recognized and provided.
