City of Regina Raises a Metis Flag

On Tuesday, November 15th, 2011, one day before the anniversary of Louis Riel's death, the City of Regina, Saskatchewan, raised a Métis flag at City Hall. The flag will be a permanent addition and Robert Doucette, president of the Saskatchewan Métis Nation, called the occasion "meaningful."
