AFN Welcomes UN Report on Ending Violence Against Indigenous Women

The Assembly of First Nations (AFN) welcomed a recently released report by the United Nations (UN) which recommends collaborative approaches to ending violence against Indigenous females. AFN National Chief Shawn Atleo, concurs with the findings which urge the Government of Canada to create a coordinated approach to solving the problem.
