B.C. First Nation Narrowly Approves Treaty

The British Columbia Sliammon First Nation (also know as the Tla'amin Nation) located on the Sunshine Coast has narrowly ratified it's treaty with the provincial and federal governments. A successful vote required 50% of eligible voters, plus one. Of the 615 voters that were registered, 318 were in favour, only 9 more than the requirements.
