Canadian Forces Missing Employment Equity Targets

According to statistics provided to the Canadian Broadcasing Corporation (CBC) the Canadian Forces are falling far short of meeting its employment equity goals. Aboriginals make up just 2.12% of the military, compared to the 3.40% target. Critics say the Forces are still over-represented by white males from rural Atlantic Canada and that needs to change in order to better reflect Canada's demographic reality.
