First Nation Social Housing Spending To Be Cut

The Harper Government is planning to reduce expenditures next year on FIrst Nations social housing. The plan is to cut spending by 30% in the coming year. There currently is a shortfall of more than 11,000 housing units in Saskatchewan with plans to build 159 homes on Saskatchewan reserves this year which will drop to 88 for each of the coming two years.
