Liberals Launch Motion To Repeal Indian Act

Interim Liberal leader Bob Rae has introduced a motion to repeal the 136 year old Indian Act and replace it with something better suited to today's realities. Rae claims that his motion is based on extensive talks with aboriginal leaders as does Conservative MP Rob Clarke, who sponsored a private members bill of his own regarding the Indian Act.
