Wind Farm Creates Tension Between First Nations

A proposed $240 million wind farm, with the Batchewana First Nation holding a 50 per cent stake, has received opposition from the neighbouring Anishinabek First Nation. The conflict lies not over the size or possible noise issues, but territory, and which Aboriginal group has the economic right to the estimated $2 million in annual payments.
