Bilingual readings and book signings will be held on Wednesday March 20th, 2013 at 7:00 pm at the Travel Alcove at McNally Robinson Booksellers, 3130 8th St. E., Saskatoon, SK. One of these books, Bonneau et la Bellhumeur/Bonneau and Miss Bellehumeur, is set in 1885 in Regina, SK and is a fictional account of Louis Riel's imprisonment.

Dr. Kim Anderson Launches New Book

Dr. Kim Anderson discusses her new book, Life Stages and Native Women, Memory, Teachings, and Story Medicine, on Wednesday, September 28th, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., in Room 103 Physics Building, on the University of Saskatchewan Campus. This launch is jointly presented by the University of Saskatchewan Department of Native Studies and the University of Manitoba Press.

Culture and Heritage of First Nations Shared by Saskatchewan Author

Saskatchewan writer, Sylvia McAdam, has co-authored a book that provides the reader with a look into First Nations' culture, heritage, ceremonial etiquette, structure of the powwow and much more. The book, Cultural Teachings: First Nations Protocols and Methodologies, will help to pass on First Nations' knowledge and teachings to First Nations peoples and others.
