Mexican Holiday: Day 6 (Day of Rest)
Kevin takes a couple days off from the tours to let the blisters on his feet heal.
Friday Feb. 23 I decided to take it easy. Too much walking in the previous three days left me with sore feet, so I decided to just hang out around the hotel.
In the morning I walked along the beach and checked out the sights ... no, I mean the coral, rocks, and waves. Here's a few random shots of the hotel.

In the afternoon I borrowed Trevor's computer to create this blog and check my email. It was easier using his computer because it has wireless, and nobody would be waiting behind me to use the computer.
Today is the last full day here for most of the people in the wedding party. I'm staying another week. So lots of time to see Chichen Itza and other tours, which I'll try to update in the blog. Might be more difficult without Trevor's computer to use.
After supper, I headed with Trevor's family to the Hacienda shops to get the last souveniers. There was a guy there making spray paint paintings (like the guy who comes to the fringe every year). The kids both got one while Trevor filmed it. Here is the painting Braedon got. Click on it to see the movie.
The towel buddy today was an armadillo.

Tonight's show is Michael Jackson. No, not the REAL Michael Jackson, but he did a pretty good imitation of it. The dancing was excellent. When he talked, you could hear a bit of Mexican accent, but he still had the high voice like Michael.
Tomorrow, sad goodbyes.
