Today I woke up about 6:00 AM. I decided to go down to the beach to try and get some more pictures of the sunrise. Unfortunately, the clouds were too thick on the horizon so didn't see the sun come up.

I then went back to bed for a bit, and didn't wake up until 10:30 or so, which meant I missed breakfast. They close up the buffet at 10:30 for two hours to set up for lunch.

So, I decided instead to head down to the snack bar at the Akumal beach. Then, I found a deck chair on the beach and hung out for most of the day. I like the Akumal beach because they have a bar right on the beach, so I can zip over, get a drink, then head back to my shady beach chair again.

It was pretty windy today. The entire beach had red flags, which means don't go into the water. It's actually been like that for most of the time I was here. The hotel lets us borrow snorkle equipment and even ofter tours of the reefs. Unfortunately, they won't do that when there are red flags out.

Tonight I went back to the Hacienda Doña Isabelle to do some more shopping. I found a DVD about Tulum and Chichen Itzá which I thought would be good.

The towel buddy today was kinda lame. Looked like a shirt and skirt. So far I liked the turtle the best.
