Twitter is a valuable way to extend medical information in a timely manner. We use twitter to inform individuals of updates, treatment options, and additional information.

It would be great to have your doctor let you know by twitter how far he is behind on your appointment for that day. I always hate showing up to the Dr's office to wait 1 hour before I go in for my "scheduled" appointment.

These are great ideas for twitter, but im wondering when twitter will become over-full with information with everyone micro-blogging ever couple of minutes.....

All in All its like a layman's "RSS" feed. Kinda cool.
