Changes to the Library Tab in PAWS
Check out the redesigned Library tab on PAWS today! The tab offers more personalized content for undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff. The Library Tab was one of the first tabs developed when PAWS was originally launched and we are very excited about these changes.
Here is a quick overview of the three new channels:
The Library Quick Links channel
• Provides undergraduate students access to quickly book group study rooms, find out more about borrowing from the Library, assist with planning for research papers, get help with writing and math, and find a job at the Library as a student assistant.
• Offers graduate students access to the RefWorks citation management tool, the interlibrary loan service, the ability to recommend a purchase to a librarian, and provides information on how to submit their thesis or dissertation to the College of Graduate Studies and Research.
• Personalizes Library resources and services links for faculty according to their subject area, giving them the ability to place items on reserve or recommend a purchase to the Library, as well as find locate the Liaison Librarian assigned to their subject area.
• Gives staff easy access to interlibrary loan services, the RefWorks citation management tool and more!
The Find Library Resources channel makes it easy to find resources for subjects relevant to the courses that you are taking or teaching as well as links to course reserves. For students resources are suggested according to current enrolment and major area of study.
The University Library channel provides information and links to Library branches that are relevant to your area of study or interest.
