2009 Spring Contest a success!

The 2009 Spring Programming Contest was held this afternoon to great success! 7 advanced student teams and 2 novice student teams came out for the day to solve problems, eat pizza, and have fun. We also saw a faculty team (featuring Prolog Gurus Eric and Mike), and a staff team consisting of Guus, Sadie and Diane. Finally, we were pleased to welcome our first ever industry competitor in Robin Dunlop from Vecima Networks.

Thanks go to Point2 for sponsoring the pizza lunch, and to PotashCorp, ESTI, zu.com, and The Department of Computer Science for sponsoring the prizes.

The final standings and full team listings will be posted shortly. In the mean time, the problems from today have been posted at the contest page. Please feel free to have a look and give the problems a try for yourselves!
