FORMER STUDENT WINS TRUDEAU FOUNDATION PRIZE
Former U of S student, Jennifer Welsh has been awarded a Trudeau Foundation Fellowship valued at $225,000.
Fascinated by foreign affairs her whole life, Welsh is a University Lecturer in International Relations at the University of Oxford.
Among her achievements is helping to create a school i the former Czechoslovakia in the 1980's that introduced forme Soviet Union and Eastern European students to life outside communism.
Today, she focuses on changing conceptions of sovereignty in international relations.
As a Trudeau Fellow, Welsh joins an exceptional community of prominent leaders.
