Conference Fund
Students planning to sponsor or co-sponsor events that promote areas like scholarship, teaching, research, and public outreach are encouraged to apply for support from the University Conference Fund.
Launched in May 2005, the fund awards grants ranging from $250-$5,000 to students, faculty and staff organizers whose conferences and workshops meets the fund criteria. So far, some $65,000 has been granted in a wide range of areas and disciplines.
Two competitions are held annually, the deadline dates being Sept. 1 and March 1. For more information about the fund, and for electronic application forms, see University Conference Fund Program.
