Counting Heads

Enrolment at the U of S is up one student over this time last year, and that person is likely a graduate student.

In early October every year, the University does a census – a headcount of students to confirm enrolment figures. This year, on Oct. 11, there were 16,565 undergraduates enrolled, down from last year, as well as 2,145 grad students, an increase of 2005, for a total of 18,710 students. While there were some enrolment anomalies but the numbers were not unexpected.
