New 3M Fellow
Ernie Walker has become the latest University of Saskatchewan professor to receive a 3M Fellowship, this country’s most prestigious award for teaching excellence.

Walker, an Archaeology professor and head of the department, is one of only 10 post-secondary teachers to be awarded a fellowship this year. In an interview with On Campus News, he talks about how research and teaching go hand-in-hand, and about how knowing his audience is key to his success in the classroom.
