Land Use Review Underway

Driven in part by a proposal to use agricultural research lands south of the main campus for a student residence development, the University has embarked on a review of how it uses all its urban land, and what future opportunities those lands might represent.

Although the College Quarter residence project continues to be just a concept, Vice-President of Finance and Resources Richard Florizone said it highlights the need for “a better mechanism to think about the uses of our land,” and for a framework to guide decision-making about land use.
