An annual event held during the last full week in January, Islam Awareness Week is meant to help dispel myths, misconceptions and stereotypes about Islam and Muslims. Held from Jan. 21 to 25, the MSA had an information kiosk set up in the Arts tunnel, as well as several interactive lectures from world-renowned experts on Islam.

The event was designed to fight what has been termed Islamophobia, as well as help spread tolerance and acceptance of the religion here at the U of S and around the world.
