Measuring Emissions
A recent inventory of greenhouse gas emissions on campus has proven that 30 years of paying attention to the issue of sustainability in the University's approach to building, planning, design, operation and maintenance has paid off.
The survey, conducted by the Facilities Management Division, provides the University with GHG benchmark levels, and offers a comparison with other universities. It will also help define where the institution needs to go from here in terms of emission levels and future targets.
