Teaching and Learning
The first draft of a new foundational document suggests that while the University of Saskatchewan is doing a good job of teaching and learning, “improvements can and should be made.”
The Teaching and Learning Foundational Document is now available on the Integrated Planning website and Pauline Melis, director of institutional planning, hopes it will be the source of much discussion over the next few months. As an initial draft, the document “throws out lots of idea” about where the University should focus its attention and take action to improve teaching and learning, she said. Nothing is carved in stone, she said. Like the University’s other such documents, this one will be shaped in large part from comments and feedback from all quarters of campus.
