Honouring Great Minds
The University of Saskatchewan honoured many great minds during 2008 Spring Convocation held May 27-29.
This spring, over 2,900 degrees diplomas and certificates were conferred is some 100 areas of study. The University also presented the following awards to outstanding graduates:
• Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists Gold Medal presented to Jenna Madeline Drinkwater
• Fulton Family and Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists Award presented to Bethany Brett Yewsuk
• Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation Prize presented to Jessica June Straf
• The Dr. Gordon Garvie Prize in Kinesiology presented to Simone Anne Charlebois and Sarah Joyce Marshall
• Lindsay Gold Medal in Nursing presented to Raelyne Dawn Linton
• Rutter Medal in Nutrition presented to Lea Rae Park
• Robert Martin Prize in Pharmacy presented to Jenifer Alma Baldo
• Western College of Veterinary Medicine Faculty Gold Medal presented to Allison Louise O'Kell
• Gold Medal in Dentistry presented to Mark Kramar
• The Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Saskatchewan Gold Medal presented to Mark Jeffrey Boots
• Law Society of Saskatchewan Gold Medal presented to Erin Lynn Lalonde
• Lindsay Gold Medal in Medicine presented to Jacelyn Marie Hanson
• Talmage E. Hunt Award in Physical Therapy presented to Kathryn Diane Warkentin
• Copland Prize in Humanities and Haslam Medal presented to Katrina Marie Bens
