Legislative Interns

Three U of S students have been selected to participate in the Saskatchewan Legislative Internship Program beginning in January.

A joint project of the legislature, the U of S, the University of Saskatchewan and Rawlco Radio, the interns spend about three months each with a member of the government caucus and a member of the opposition assisting with research, speech writing, committee duties and some constituency work.

Among the five students selected for the 2009 program are Dawn Gibbons, who is working toward an MBA, Andrew Restall, a BA honours student in political studies, and Teresa Tootoosis who is in her third year of study in aboriginal publication administration.
