French Before English

---- with Vendredi being french for Friday. So I then asked her, "what day is today?" Without hesitation, she came back with "Mardi". "Yes, but what is that in English?" She thought about that for a minute, and then tentatively answered, "... uh... Monday?" I laughed and replied that no, Mardi was french for Tuesday. "Oh, right!" she grinned and ran off to play.
