Queerapalooza: Your on-campus Pride Week!
From September 29th to October 3rd the USSU Pride Centre will be hosting Queerapalooza.
- Monday, September 29, 6:30pm Coffee House: Get to know the Pride Centre! Learn about the Centre's programs and services, and meet its dedicated Coordinator and volunteers. Enjoy free refreshments and experience the Pride Centre's fun and welcoming environment.
- Tuesday, September 30, 2:00pm Origins of Homophobia: Don Cochrane will facilitate a discussion on the origins of homophobia
- Wednesday, October 1, 1:00pm Sexual Assault and Relationships: The Saskatoon Sexual Assault and Information Centre will present its services, as well as information about healthy relationships.
- Thursday, October 2, 9:30am Saskatoon Police Recruiting Presentation: The Saskatoon Police will lead a presentation about recruiting in the queer community and answer questions.
- Friday, October 3, 10:30am HIV/AIDS Presentation: The Saskatoon Branch of Oxfam Canada will give a presentation about HIV/AIDS and its worldwide effect.
- Friday October 3rd, 7:00pm Drag Workshop: A workshop (including demonstration) will be given about the art of drag.
All of the events will be happening in the USSU Pride Centre (Room 104 MUB)
