U-PASS Sticker Pickup and Exemption Deadline

Term 2 stickers are now available for pickup from the Information Centre in Upper Place Riel. Please make sure you bring your student card.

U-PASS Exemption Period

Between December 8, 2008 and January 16, 2009, students (who qualify) may apply for a Term 2 U-PASS exemption. To apply, students must fill out a U-PASS Exemption Form (click here to view and download the form), and drop off the form at the USSU Main Office located at Room 65, Lower Place Riel.

U-PASS Exemption Qualifications

To qualify for a U-PASS exemption, U of S students must be:

1) Living in On-Campus Residence: Only residents of Athabasca, Saskatchewan, Qu’Appelle, Luther & Ogle Halls, and St. Andrew’s College may apply. For verification purposes, students must provide their student card, and their name must appear on the verification list provided to the USSU by residence offices.

2) Commuting from Outside of the City Limits: Students who live outside city limits but within 50 km of Saskatoon and are commuting must provide their driver’s license with an out-of-town address, as well as their student card. For students who live 51 km – 100 km outside of Saskatoon and are commuting, a student card and driver’s license (with an out-of-town address) as well as two (2) pieces of government mail (with an out-of-town address in the student’s name) must be provided. Government mail examples can be a bill from SaskTel, SaskPower, or a bill from the city or town the student resides in.

3) Disability Parking or Disability Bus Pass: Students must provide their student card and bus pass. Disability parking passes will be verified with Campus Parking.

Please remember that the deadline to apply for an exemption is 4:30 p.m., January 16, 2009. Late applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.
