Nov 25 - Transgender Day of Remembrance

Transgender Day of Remembrance is a day to remember those who were killed because of their transgender identity. Although not every person murdered identified as transgendered, many identified as transsexual, drag queens/kings, cross dressers, or were found dressed in clothing opposite to their assigned birth sex.

This year's ceremony will include several transgendered speakers, a group from the USSU Pride Centre called "Gender Revolution" and a candlelight vigil for the 117 recorded transgender murders in the past year worldwide.
