USSU News and Events

This year's U-PASS was not scheduled to be activated until September 1, unlike the previous two years. A significant number of students protested this and as a result the USSU has requested that Transit activate the U-PASS immediately. Transit has agreed to do this for this year, effective immediately.

If you want your U-PASS to be usable before September 1, please return to the Information Desk in Place Riel and the staff there will be pleased to assist you.

Be advised there are nearly one thousand students who have picked up stickers and so there may be waiting lines. Anyone who has paid for bus tickets will not be able to have those tickets refunded.

The Campus Centre Pharmacy in Upper Place Riel is temporarily closed for renovations. Watch for the new Campus Centre Pharmacy opening soon.

In the interim, prescription services will be provided by Willow Grove Pharmacy (665-1000 or 668-2256). The Campus Centre Pharmacy can deliver anywhere in or outside Saskatoon.

University Council requires one undergraduate student representative from each college (13) , and one from each affiliated and federated college.
