Term 1 U-Pass Stickers


Stickers can be picked up or reactivated at the Information Centre in Upper Place Riel or next to the Student Card Office on the second floor in the Administration Building. To avoid line ups students should pick up or reactivate their sticker prior to September 6, 2011.

* If you received a sticker for the 2010-2011 U-Pass you will be required to reactivate the sticker at the Information Centre in Upper Place Riel.

Place Riel Bus Terminal Re-Routed

Beginning on Wednesday, August 24 (beginning at 6 am) through to Thursday, August 25 (ending at 5 pm), there will be road re-surfacing work taking place in front of the Place Riel Bus Terminal, as well as other portions of Campus Drive South (ending at the Physical Activity Centre/PAC).
 
There will be no vehicle access to the Place Riel Bus Mall, and city transit buses will be re-routed to College Drive, with a temporary stop in front of the Royal Bank (at College and Bottomley).

Browsers Reboot - August 8, 2011

Browsers Cafe will now be serving Museo Coffee alongside their regular Alternative Grounds selection and Just Us! fair trade tea. Our specialty coffees include traditional espressos or lattes and coffee free drinks such as London Fogs and Chai Lattes… and everything in between! For non-coffee drinkers there is a variety of cold juices, waters and pop available.

Summer Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Closed Saturday, Sunday & Holidays.

Regular Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Closed Saturday, Sunday & Holiday.

2011 USSU U-Pass Important Dates

Exemption forms for Term 1 will be available online and can be submitted for approval. Exemption forms may be submitted to the USSU Main Office located next to the Information Centre in Upper Place Riel.

Term 1 U-Pass stickers are activated. If you have received or reactivated your U-Pass sticker for the 2011 Term 1 you will be able to access City Transit with your U-Pass. You will not be able to use your U-Pass prior to September 1, 2011. Stickers can be picked up or reactivated at the Information Centre in Upper Place Riel.

Student Health and Counselling Moving to Place Riel

On August 3 Student Health and Counselling Services will reopen on the third and fourth floors of Place Riel.

To help facilitate the move, the Student Health Centre and Student Counselling Services will be closed from July 28 to August 2. Throughout the closure, students will be encouraged to take advantage of alternative services, including:

- Saskatchewan Health Line: 1-877-800-0002 (24-hour health advice) 

- Saskatoon Crisis Intervention Service: 933-6200 (24-hour support)
 
- Walk-in clinics: Listed under "Physician" in the phone book's yellow pages (for urgent care) 

- Royal University Hospital emergency room: 655-1362 (for life-threatening emergencies) 

- Campus Safety: 966-5555

Effective August 3, Student Health and Counselling Services will be open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed from noon to 1 p.m.). To book an appointment, please call (counselling services at 966-4920 or health services at 966-5768) or visit the office.
