USSU White Ribbon Campaign
The White Ribbon Campaign is the largest effort in the world of men working to end violence against women. Wearing a white ribbon is a personal pledge to never commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women and girls. Wearing a white ribbon is a way of saying, "Our future has no violence against women.
To support the White Ribbon campaign visit the USSU table in the Tunnel November 28 - December 2 and pick up your White Ribbon and pledge your support to the campaign.
The USSU will be screening the documentary "Finding Dawn" November 30 at 3 p.m. in Neatby Timlin Theatre. Finding Dawn illustrates the deep historical, social and economic factors that contribute to the epidemic of violence against Native women in this country. It goes further to present the ultimate message that stopping the violence is everyone's responsibility.
